Old Bar Unicorns Theme Tune

My awesome football team I play for, The Old Bar Unicorns have been without a theme tune for the past 3 years (I think we lost our original one when it was accidentally put out with hard rubbish).
Sooo.. I made one up. Not sure if the club wants to adopt it officially as yet.... the jury is still out..   stay (auto)tuned!

Somebody That I Used To Know - Gotye Cover

So it seems like every man and his fish have done a cover of the Gotye song..  so I thought I should too!
I spent 20 minutes recording it and 60 minutes making the film clip (and learning how to use iMovie in the process).  This piece of art is not for sale. Enjoy at your leisure!

New Painting Goes On Auction!

I have been commissioned to paint a poster for a gig! A very good cause too, "An end of the world fundraiser to buy musical instruments, a juke box and a music therapist for the John Cade Psychiatric Ward at Royal Melbourne Hospital"

This is perhaps the largest painting I have done to date, and it's for sale!

Interested parties will need to buy themselves a ticket to the event (or send along someone to do their bidding), and win the auction that will take place on the night.

The ABC Arts TV Interview

In some kind of idiotic move, someone in power has decided to cut the arts budget at the ABC.

This means that they can no longer cover the best quality art, but instead can only cover the worst!

Some Unsold Paintings

This one Cameron And The Stardust Of Betelgeuse (featuring Cam, Ev and Shags) was passed in unsold from the exhibition.

If you know any wealthy art buyers, or perhaps a curator at a decent art gallery... let them know I can sell them this one.

Exhibition End and New Painting

A week ago I took down my exhibition, after a fantastic month where I sold a majority of the works, and gained some very pleasing responses from friends, family and media (stay tuned for something in the works).

So now what? Do I just return to my photography and bands and teaching... or should I paint some more?
Well, on the weekend I found some "nice" frames in an op-shop.. so I painted something to cover the generic print that was within it.
It was inspired by an upcoming gig my band High Tea have with a Perth band called Frozen Ocean, and a Melbourne band called Duck Duck Chop.
